A Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) determined that in a phase 3 clinical trial for early-stage colon cancer, no group of patients benefited from the addition of the monoclonal antibody cetuximab (ErbituxTM) to a standard chemotherapy regimen known as FOLFOX.
